My way of working? It's your way of working.
We all have different needs, wants, motivations and ways of learning.
We've all got two ears, one mouth, a need for feedback and a desire for value.
"Simon took the time to really understand my goals." Henry, via LinkedIn
"His communication and proactive approach made all the difference, ensuring I felt supported and confident." Aarti, via LinkedIn
Two ears
I listen first, then ask questions, then listen some more.
I'm looking for your feelings and intonation, as it gives me insight into what you've said, or not, helps to identify what you want, how you want it delivered.
One mouth
After listening, we plan.
I'll list your objectives, the actions we'll take, and the purpose of them.
It could be face-to-face, online, or something else. Whatever works best for you, not me.
We'll then tweak and agree them, so you are confident we'll get where you want to be.
Feedback
At the end of the session we'll talk it through. What was good, not so, and what comes next.
I'll then forward you a review with details of the next session, so you have something tangible, we can agree/tweak the next step, and you can see your journey.
Value
There's the obvious value that you can see and feel from when I've been actively coaching with you.
There's also my time; I don't disappear when we're not together - I'm planning our next session or writing the review, as well as being there for any questions between times.
